What’s happening? Four Queensland plumbers have been named ambassadors to support and promote the industry. Nicole Byrne, Shannon Shortis, Travis Hock and Lachlan Bell were selected at the Master Plumbers’ Association of Queensland World Plumbing Day event. The group represents both regional and metro areas across the state. CEO Penny Cornah said the ambassadors play a key role in supporting the industry. They will help promote the value of plumbing and encourage more young people to take up apprenticeships. Why it matters? The plumbing industry supports public health and safe communities.
