Educators across the region gathered last week for a memorable Teacher Professional Development Expo at the Rockhampton Zoo.
The event was a splendid opportunity for teachers to network and collaborate with Council representatives, exploring the vast array of educational programs at their disposal.
A Multifaceted Learning Experience
The Teacher PD Expo was an engaging rendezvous, offering insights into a diverse array of Council departments.
Educators had the chance to interact with representatives from Rockhampton Zoo, Botanic Gardens, Local Laws, Waste and Recycling, Environmental Health, Disaster Management, Pilbeam Theatre, Pest Management, Sustainability, Rockhampton Museum of Art, and Fitzroy River Water.
This array of resources caters to a broad spectrum of educational needs.
A Day Out with the Zoo
As an extra treat, educators were treated to an exclusive tour of the Rockhampton Zoo. It was a wonderful opportunity for these dedicated professionals to experience the educational programs firsthand, right in the heart of our community.
The Expo served as a reminder of the extensive resources available to our teachers, enabling them to provide top-notch education to our students.
