Why it matters

The Design Lab Building represents a major investment in innovative education and reflects Kingsley College’s vision of equipping students with hands-on skills for the future. Earlier this year, the college’s Primary Stage 01 Building, designed by the same team at Design and Architecture, was recognised with the prestigious J.W. Wilson Award for Building of the Year by the Australian Institute of Architects.

Principal Michael Appleton said, “We are incredibly proud to provide this opportunity to our students, which represents our commitment to providing hands-on learning. This facility will not only enhance our programs but will also serve as a hub of innovation, inspiring the next generation of designers and creative thinkers.”
