Dementia Australia is bringing a range of free education and support sessions to Rockhampton and Gladstone from 20–28 May 2025. These in-person sessions are designed for people living with dementia, their carers, families, and friends. The program includes memory support, community awareness, and wellness education, all requiring bookings in advance.

“EDIE for Family Carers”, a unique virtual reality experience that helps carers understand the lived experience of dementia, is scheduled for Rockhampton (26 May, 1–4pm) and Gladstone (28 May, 9am–12pm).

“Carer Wellness Program” (27 May, 10am–3pm) focuses on self-care and mental health for Gladstone-based carers.
