Tickets go on sale Wednesday, 23 September for Lano & Woodley‘s expanded 2027 Australian tour, which includes a Rockhampton performance.
The comedy duo will bring In Space to Pilbeam Theatre on 22 May 2027 at 6:30pm, following the show’s 2026 season.
Why It Matters
The expanded tour will take Frank Woodley and Colin Lane to regional and metropolitan locations across Australia. In Space puts the comedy duo aboard a spaceship, with Commander Col focused on an important mission while co-pilot Woodley proves far easier to distract.
Colin Lane said audiences had responded strongly to the show during its touring run.
“We’ve had a great run so far with Lano & Woodley in Space, and the response has been amazing. But after all this travelling together, I’m starting to think the show should now be called “Lano Needs Space.”

Rockhampton is among the regional destinations included in the expanded 2027 tour.
The Rockhampton performance will take place at Pilbeam Theatre, with See It Live listed as the ticket outlet in the media release.

Frank Woodley joked about the show’s reception during its recent touring run.
“We’ve been touring the show for the last few months and unfortunately only one of the jokes is funny. Fortunately, it’s so funny the audience laugh for an hour after we tell it.”

Lano & Woodley have built a long-running comedy partnership around Colin Lane and Frank Woodley’s contrasting characters and comic disagreements.
Their early work won the Award for Best Comedy in Edinburgh, making them only the second Australian act to receive the award. They later returned to Australia to full houses and a television show co-produced with the ABC and BBC.
