Clarke Creek Pony Club hosted a fundraising luncheon for the 2026 Lexus Melbourne Cup Tour on 12 July 2026. The event was held at The Homestead in Lotus Creek and sponsored by Squadron Energy’s Clarke Creek Wind Farm 2.
Local families, racing enthusiasts, volunteers and other community members gathered for the occasion. Guests enjoyed raffles, competitions, hobby horse racing and live music throughout the day. Squadron Energy also helped cover catering costs, supporting the club’s fundraising efforts and the event’s overall success.

Clarke Creek Pony Club Treasurer Meghan Speed said the luncheon exceeded expectations and delivered an important social occasion for residents.
“The luncheon was incredible, and it was so wonderful to see the community come together to support Clarke Creek Pony Club,” Ms Speed said.
“We don’t have many opportunities in our small district for positive community engagement and connection, and this was one of those events!
“All reports are that everyone had a wonderful day, so I am super happy with the outcome.”
