What’s Happening?

A Rockhampton man has started the week with a 6-digit win in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 11073, drawn on 11 May 2026.

The Central Queensland local held the 1st Prize winning entry after buying a ticket through The Lott website.

He said the call from The Lott came as a complete surprise.

I’m blown away. You never expect to win big and when it does happen, it’s just unbelievable,” he said.

What terrific news to start my week.

I wouldn’t mind waking up to a phone call like this every day.

The Rockhampton man said the prize would likely make his partner happy as well.

This will certainly put me in the good books with my partner. I’ll let her decide what to do with the prize,” he said.

I can’t wait to tell her. I’ll have to wait for her to get home from work.

It’s going to take a while to sink in.

Why It Matters?

The latest win adds to a strong run of lottery luck across Central Queensland.

The region has already celebrated several major wins this year, including two $2.5 million Saturday Gold Lotto prizes won by a Frenchville dad and a mystery Emerald player over the weekend.

Locals are still being urged to check their tickets for any unclaimed prizes.

Local Impact

Big lottery wins continue to land across Central Queensland communities in 2026.

The latest Rockhampton prize follows other recent millionaire wins across the region, giving locals another reason to dream big.

The Lott said official lotteries also continue supporting community programs through state taxes and donations linked to ticket sales.

The winning entry included nine random numbers and was purchased online through The Lott website.

Lucky Lotteries games use a raffle style system, meaning every ticket number in each draw is unique.

Players also have a chance to win growing jackpots if the jackpot number matches one of the winning numbers drawn.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot has reached $1.72 million for draw 1784, while the Super Jackpot sits at $2.71 million for draw 11074.

Zoom Out

Lottery games across Australia continue generating billions in prize money every year while contributing funding toward community services.

Last financial year, official lotteries contributed more than $1.66 billion through state lottery taxes and donations supporting hospitals, disaster relief, health research and education.

The Lott also supports Play For Purpose, a charity raffle helping more than 500 causes across the country.

What To Look For Next?

The next Lucky Lotteries draws will offer jackpots worth $1.72 million in the Mega Jackpot and $2.71 million in the Super Jackpot.

Queensland players are also being encouraged to check recent Saturday Gold Lotto tickets as the Emerald prize remains unclaimed.
